Tour for the Cure! Take II
Two years ago, the SheJumps ladies headed up to Red Pine Basin for a slumber party and an attempt at the quintessential Wasatch line, the Hypodermic Needle. For many of us, it was our first attempt at winter camping, and the long slog in with all our gear whopped our butts! This year, Hannah Whitney and Claire Smallwood took a different route for our adventure; why not use it as a tool to teach other girls about winter camping?
This year, SheJumps has decided to stay a little closer to home, and focus on the techniques that are different to winter camping. We will be focusing on building snow caves, practice beacon skills, and of course, skiing some backcountry lines! We’re heading out up Big Cottonwood Canyon at 4. I’m so excited!
