Day One, Crested Butte FWT

Day one of the third stop of the FWT went pretty well. Competitors had free refills all day and skied more pow runs than comp runs. Due to technical difficulties and a forgotten part in SLC, the live feed did not happen yesterday. The women finished their comp runs, but only half of the men’s field completed theirs due to poor visibility. Today, the rest of the men’s field and the master’s field will ski, with the finals day postponed till Sunday! Today, we will ski pow! Well, now we will. Crystal, Eben and I had quite the morning digging out the truck from a snowpack attempting to make it to the mountain!
