Food for thought…. or for your tummy!
As an athlete, eating is something I can’t ignore. It’s a balance between eating healthy, eating on the go, and getting enough calories. I’m also gluten intolerant, which makes eating on the go a little bit more tricky. Recently, my newest sponsor, SLC Crossfit told me about Fitday.com , an easy to use website that tracks your daily caloric intake and how many calories you generally burn. I thought that I ate a well balanced diet, but boy did this website change my mind. Not only do I have a low percentage of protein per day, but I have also been eating about a third of the amount of calories that I should be eating. Hmm… maybe this is why I’m so tired. Generally, I’m not into calorie counting because I think it’s lame. We should all enjoy food, both cooking and eating it! But I definitely encourage you to check this website out, the results may surprise you!
